The training course "Community Agents on Human Rights and Health" is conducted in Paraguay

Since April 2013, the organization SOMOSGAY every Saturday trains new volunteers with a series of workshops called "Community Agents" based on a comprehensive program of activists of the organization. This exciting program is divided into modules with a theoretical introduction to the topics, group work techniques and materials and other sources of research. The course is free and certified.

Conmemorando el Día Mundial de Lucha Contra la Homofobia y la Transfobia, el próximo 17 de mayo, SOMOSGAY realizará el BESATÓN 2013, desde las 11:00hs frente al Congreso Nacional. Son invitadas a participar todas las parejas gays, lésbicas y heterosexuales que quieran sumarse a esta actividad para demostrar que el amor nos une y no debería ser motivo de discriminación.

On May 17, the International Day Against Homophobia, the Kiss-in 2013 is organized in Paraguay

Celebrating the International Day Against Homophobia, on 17 May, SOMOSGAY held the Kiss-in 2013 from 11:00 in front of the National Congress. The event intends calls to all gay , lesbian and heterosexual couples who wish to join this activity to demonstrate that love unites us and should not be grounds for discrimination . Also everyone who wishes may take part in an impromptu dance called "Global Rainbow- Flashmob " to be held that day.

Candidatos políticos a favor y en contra de los derechos igualitarios en Paraguay

El domingo 21 de abril se realiza las elecciones generales en Paraguay. Según declaraciones en los medios de comunicación, varios candidatos a distintos cargos del poder ejecutivo y legislativo toman por primera vez posturas a favor o en contra del matrimonio igualitario y la lucha contra la discriminación de las personas LGBT (lesbianas, gay, bisexuales y transexuales) en Paraguay.

On Sunday April 21 general elections in Paraguay is performed. According to statements in the media, several candidates at different positions in the executive and legislative branches take first positions for or against marriage equality and combating discrimination against LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) in Paraguay.
