In this space it is expected to have an open debate on several political figures on the different parties and their posture on their respective political basis and proposals that represent LGBT people.
The panel will have the special participation of Senator Carlos Filizzola, Minister Camilo Soares and Deputy Candido Aguilera.
SOMOSGAY starts a series of varied support activities to generate a more open and democratic debate on the consequences of homophobia about the rights of LGBT people in our country. We consider that one of the main points for examination is the posture assumed and impulsed by the different parties, in their practice and speech.
This exercise for us is of major importance if we really aim towards the construction of a country with a solid democracy and well established on its firm social basis. To SOMOSGAY as an organization this is presented in the need to bring this debate to citizens in the widest manner possible.
SOMOSGAY will continue to generate similar spaces to promote the participation of the citizens in the democratic processes, in order to strengthen the project of a country free of homophobia and discrimination that it aims to build.
