In an intimate and comfortable atmosphere a ceremony was held by SOMOSGAY in which it presented the summary of its main activities in the last year. Its future plans, main projects and accomplishments were also presented.
The Open House also served as way to show the most important achievement which is the almost complete restoration of the SOMOSGAY CENTER as a community area of SOMOSGAY. The restoration works in the area, just like the majority of the organization's activities, have been supported by its members, marking an important milestone to the sustainability of the organization and the cause that it defends.
The people invited to the Open House enjoyed the comfortable facilities of the SOMOSGAY CENTER and also appreciated the improvements that have been implemented in the short time of its operations. The public was composed of businesspeople from the LGBT community who appreciated the important work of the voluntaries that were active in the restoration.
This event was stressed by the demonstrated commitment of SOMOSGAY in its last year. This was validated by the variety of activities and the great amount of people that support it.
SOMOSGAY presented its medium-term plan that includes the coming campaigns and the beginning of a series of interventions that will cover the next strategic lines of the organization.
