In April 2013, the organization SOMOSGAY will be training new volunteers with a series of workshops called "Community Agents" based on a comprehensive program of activists of the organization. This exciting program is divided into modules with a theoretical introduction to the topic, group work techniques and materials and other sources of funding and research. The course is free and certified.
The project team of Community Agents on Health and Human Rights aims to train with the best professionals in our country and abroad, and in turn, develop a more effective leadership in all persons involved in several levels of planning and implementation of activities. The workshops are divided thematically according to each area and occupy a certain number of hours for training development. The finish of the program will include workshops to develop all the details.
The course "Community Agents" emphasizes the importance of education can have in everyday life, with the prospect of realizing the universality of human rights, aimed at young people and students in secondary and tertiary education. The Human Rights Education through the dimensions of knowledge transfer, skills development and attitude formation, allows you to create awareness of our common ground regarding the protection of human dignity.
