The international organization Matter of the South performed the [LOTS WITH LITTLE] project that sought the most outstanding Latin American leaders who are conducting innovative projects of high impact in their countries and they are replicable in others.
Simon Cazal and the organization SOMOSGAY were one of the few that worked and made an effort that managed to impact our region in recent years.
The evaluation and selection of leaders is based on finding those whose ideas, proposals and policies implemented have managed to expand a civil right , and social welfare and development generated at a specific point in Latin America. Three main axes are guiding the selection process for innovative leaders [LOTS WITH LITTLE], "Impact ", " Repeatability " and "Innovation " .
Simon Cazal selected from 100 candidates , participate in training and dissemination to transfer tools and experiences to young people in 7 countries in the region, with the aim of promoting the urge to exercise leadership in the region.
The ADS organization conducted an interview for history and strategy SOMOSGAY, part of the paper describes : " Today we have the story of Simon Cazal SOMOSGAY , a movement that originated in Paraguay since 2005 has been working against homophobia , improving prevention of HIV and AIDS , defending the rights of people affected by this virus and the advancement of human rights in Paraguay.
