SOMOSGAY implemented successfully the first stage of the SOMOSGAY CENTER. This event was attended by the Vice-Minister of Youth, Karina Rodriguez and the Secretary of National Emergency. Both authorities attended to restate their commitment with the support given to the organization in other occasions

SOMOSGAY offers the TEST FREE along with the MINISTRY OF HEALTH and PRONASIDA

The MINISTRY OF PUBLIC HEALTH AND SOCIAL WELL BEING through the PRONASIDA, along with SOMOSGAY opened a new Counseling and Voluntary Testing Service with the ELISA "FREE TEST". This service will be available all Fridays from 4pm to 9pm at the SOMOSGAY CENTER (Manduvirá 367 between Chile and Alberdi).

The Women's Minister-Secretary, Gloria Rubin, met with SOMOSGAY in the morning of October 2nd of 2009. In this opportunity the Minister reflected on the strong machismo that still affects the society and Paraguayan culture, and it's direct bond with the homophobia and violence with LGBT people.

SOMOSGAY participated in the event "Decent job: without discrimination"

SOMOSGAY attended the event called:"Decent job: without discrimination" organized by the Vice-Ministry of Work of the Ministry of Justice and Work. This event took place on September 24th at 3pm at the Bi-Chamber Room of the National Congress. Authorities of the Ministry of Justice and Work were present, among them was the Minister Humberto Blanco and the Vice-Minister of Work, Raul Mongelos.
