Simón Cazal organizes a Conference/Debate on LGBT Rights and Homophobia at the Universidad Columbia

On November 25 of 2009, during the Week of Gay Fight Against HIV/AIDS, will be at 7pm in the Department of Rights of the Universidad Columbia del Paraguay, a conference and later a debate, on the vulnerability of human rights due to homophobia in Paraguay. Simon Cazal, from SOMOSGAY will participate in the conference as a guest speaker.

During the course/workshop on Advocacy for Organizations of the Civil Society, the SOMOSGAY CENTER welcomed Tony Reis and Pablo Britez, members of ASICAL and facilitators at the event. Both guests have a vast experience on the capacitation to LGBT organizations, in areas like strategical planification, organizational development, advocacy and project management. The visit of renowned activists was exploited by activists from SOMOSGAY to learn from their experiences in their respective countries.

"TEST FREE" days by PRONASIDA and SOMOSGAY are successfully carried out

Since October 23rd of 2009, SOMOSGAY along with the PRONASIDA of the Ministry of Health, carried out days of counseling and voluntary testing at the SOMOSGAY CENTER called ”GET TESTED WITH TESTFREE at the CENTER”
