The LGBT Federation Paraguayan performed very successfully the Parade for Equality Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Straight 2011, last Saturday June 25, 2011, commemorating the International LGBT Pride Day, under the slogan "We Are Happy, We are Equal".

SOMOSGAY participates in internship by the organization EPICENTRO of Lima, Peru

Under the continued strengthening and organizational growth, two members of SOMOSGAY were invited to participate in an internship at the organization EPICENTRO Lima, Peru, where they traveled to the support of PAHO. There were trained in counseling and are internalized in the functioning of the Centre for Voluntary Testing and participating in activities in the organization for a week. At the time the signing of an agreement between SOMOSGAY and EPICENTER is conducted to twin our organizations and assist in the growth of both.

SOMOSGAY participates in the 4th Global Forum of partners in the Global Fund in Sao Paulo, Brazil

Sergio López, in his character of Coordinator to the Youth Area of SOMOSGAY, was invited to participate at the 4th Forum for Partners in the Global Fund. This event is intended to gather the voices of the executive entities, the interested parties of the civil society, private sector and the Government, and other partners, to debate on how to broaden the effects of work of the Global Funds on the fight against AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria.
