EQUIS App

Given the times of hyper-connectivity and media convergence, EQUIS decided to evolve into a free mobile application, freely downloadable through the Google PlayStore, to reach the large percentage of users who currently connect to the Internet via mobile phones.

 

Because we are disruptive, and in our eagerness to provide care and information for the full exercise of rights, we updated ourselves and generated the first application for the LGBTI+ community in Paraguay, seeking to be where young people are.

 

Thus, EQUIS App offers content about health, rights, sexuality, leisure, pleasure and currently national and international events for the community.

 

The application is also an innovative and extremely efficient tool in the HIV response, because through it we provide assistance and support, offering the option to reserve orderly turns for free consultations in Kuimba´e, as well as an informative list with places to get tested for HIV for free and confidentially.

 

The application was launched at the end of 2017, in collaboration with the National Program for the Control of HIV, AIDS and STI (PRONASIDA), the Ministry of Health and thanks to the support of the Global Fund and ViiV Healthcare through Positive Action program.
