Following the initiative to achieve a worthy Paraguay , equal and free to all persons held on Saturday October 15, 2011 in front of the Pantheon of the Heroes "2nd Festival for Equality and Liberty in Paraguay ."
With live performances by Dayana Urunaga , Neri Rojas, Culture Native , Square Pants and artists in the music field , he also had the support of CEPATE ( Paraguayan Center Theater ) , CHOPA ( Homosexual Community Paraguay ) , La Casa de la LGBT youth and Paraguayan Federation .
The Festival for Equality and Liberty in Paraguay was first performed with great success in 2010 . The intention of this festival comes in response to the aggressive campaign by conservative sectors of our society , who have attacked the freedom and equality of all Paraguayan citizenship , have attacked the Paraguayan Secular State ; installing an aggressive hate speech in against the principles contained in the Charter of Human Rights.
SOMOSGAY , committed to innovation of effective strategies against homophobia organization , improving HIV prevention and AIDS , defending the rights of people affected by this virus and the advancement of human rights in Paraguay .
