We GayLatino Network take a stand about the use and application of pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) in the population of gay and bisexual men and men who have sex with other men (MSM) in Latin America and Hispanic Caribbean because we want to divulge our stance on an issue which occupies the social imaginary in different intensities.

GayLatino is a network of activists, Latin American gay men who work for the equality of rights. The 4th, 5th and 6th of November they held their second annual meeting in Mexico City to contribute to the national and regional debate regarding the defence and monitoring of human rights of gay men and men who have sex with other men in the region.

We, Latino gay men gathered for the second time in a Meeting in the GayLatino Network with participants from all Latin America, leaders and activist for the answer to HIV and human rights, we have been invited to Mexico City to debate and take a stand on different issues concerning our community in the region.
