FREETEST are back at the SOMOSGAY CENTER

SOMOSGAY, through its health area, successfully carried out the first day in 2010 of Counseling and Free Testing at the SOMOSGAY CENTER. This event was possible thanks to the constant cooperation with the PRONASIDA of the Ministry of Public Health, who provided the tests and counselors necessary for this activity.

In this occasion, 50 people attended the SOMOSGAY CENTER. The counseling and voluntary testing activities will take place once a month at the SOMOSGAY CENTER, this periodicity was set according to the demand along with the PRONASIDA.
SOMOSGAY recognizes the necessity to broaden this type of services, considering them key for the development of integral public policies of attention and treatment universal to HIV. This is why the organization will keep developing doable alternatives with state entities in charge of these services.
It is expected to keep developing similar initiatives in the future, in the same focus on solidarity and community that marks the agenda of SOMOSGAY as an entity.
